The module ATCLMA27 – Advocacy in Adult Care explores the importance of promoting individual rights, voice, choice, and independence within care settings. Learners develop an understanding of advocacy principles and how to support individuals in making informed decisions about their care and wellbeing.

ATCLMA28 – Assistive Technology in Adult Care introduces learners to technology-based solutions that support independence, safety, communication, and quality of life for individuals receiving care. The course explores how assistive technology can improve care delivery and enhance person-centred support.

The module ATCLMA29 – Digital Skills in Adult Care focuses on the use of digital systems, communication tools, and technology within modern care services. Learners develop practical awareness of digital record keeping, online communication, data protection, and technology-supported care delivery.

ATCLMA30 – Group Living in Adult Care explores the management and support of individuals living within shared or supported accommodation environments. Participants learn approaches for promoting independence, positive relationships, inclusion, and safe living environments.

The module ATCLMA31 – Healthcare and Clinical Skills focuses on developing awareness and competence in healthcare-related procedures and clinical support practices required within adult care settings. ATCLMA32 – Mental Capacity and Best Interest Decision-Making provides learners with an understanding of the Mental Capacity Act, best interest decisions, consent, and supporting individuals who may lack capacity while maintaining dignity, rights, and person-centred approaches.

The module ATCLMA33 – Specialist Areas of Care explores a range of specialist support needs within adult care, including complex care, disability support, dementia care, mental health, and other specialist service areas that require tailored approaches to care delivery.

ATCLMA34 – Sexuality and Sexual Health focuses on promoting dignity, respect, inclusion, and professional awareness when supporting individuals with sexuality, relationships, and sexual health needs within care environments.

The module ATCLMA35 – Transitions in Adult Care explores how professionals can effectively support individuals during life transitions, including moving between services, changes in care needs, independence planning, and significant life events.
